I think he ends up with around 25 pts in 35 NCAA games
If he nets over 0.9 points per game as a freshman, does Hutson turn pro? That would be a fantastic result. For true freshman D, a PPG of 0.5 or above would be pretty big news.
In the interview he did with Mccagg it was clear he has a huge chip on his shoulder to proove everyone wrong and wants to make the NHL now.If he nets over 0.9 points per game as a freshman, does Hutson turn pro?
Agreed. 20 lbs will come in the summer of 2023. He will then play one more year of college and turn pro in Summer of 2024. Id expect him to start 2024/25 with AHL, with the chance to graduate to the big club as the season progresses. He is our most enticing D prospect, but furthest from the show.In the interview he did with Mccagg it was clear he has a huge chip on his shoulder to proove everyone wrong and wants to make the NHL now.
I believe it will depend on how he develops physically. If he gets to 5'10, 180 then yes I think he doesn't stay a second year. but putting on 20lbs is tough in a year.

With Mailloux, Barron and Lane on the horizon, Montreal's defence will be transformed from what has recently been among the most pedestrian in the league to one of the most dynamic. Therein lies the foundation for this proud franchise's return to relevancy.Agreed. 20 lbs will come in the summer of 2023. He will then play one more year of college and turn pro in Summer of 2024. Mailloux

Will all likely arrive before Lane. That is a lot of youth on the back end.
He must reach the 5'11" threshold before the discussion even begins. If he nets over 0.9 points per game as a freshman, does Hutson turn pro?

Only if he's standing on his tippy toes.Did he grow taller yet?
Hutson - 1a, +1. made some good defensive plays, not sure why they didn't use him during the 3 on 3 OT though.
Hutson and Cooley seem to have great chemistry. Could have been a fun alternate universe picking both
I don't want to misquote you, but I thought you said Jimmy Snuggerud was the mensa-like hockey super brain driving that line...Yeah, shows you how good Cooley is when he's playing with other high IQ guys vs Snuggerud and Gauthier
