He was but once Dean was out, he was on a regular line. Still didn't notice him.

STANDINGS AFTER DAY ONE (I THINK)

Paralyzer: 9
Cerebral: 9
BarDownBobo: 9
Mozes: 9
THC: 8
JTS: 5
Soli: 4
Lakai: 1
GrandLarseny: 1

@Cerebral do goalie assists count?
I THINK we have counted them in the past. Does anyone remember?

Not a bad first day considering the Canadian outcome. Hopefully giving up two goals to a the Latvians means Mbareko starts the next game.

And yes I know I counted goalie assists on my scores before.

EDIT: With that @McMozesmadness should have 10 points and the lead.

I should have taken Korchinshki just so I took Bystedt later, he's a pool winner.

Guys, edit/update the code I sent you for points, and then copy&paste over your post. Don't edit the code in the post in this thread itself, that's just asking for trouble.

Engstrom’s goal gives him 3 points so far this tournament which is pretty good for my 2nd last pick of the draft.

but with Lindbom’s second straight shutout, that gives @BarDownBobo 8 points alone.

I agree, we should take goaltending out of the equation and not count the points this year.

Suchanek now has his 2nd assist of the tourney. Goalie assists seem liberal this year from the IIHF.

EDIT: Suchanek now has 3 assists.

Suchanek is now the all-time IIHF World Juniors career leader in goalie assists.

@Soli is just trying to not get relegated this year with Gaudreau likely losing his starters job. Moving back back to the big league next year JTS.

Honestly, I navigated the goalie tea leaves pretty well, Gaudreau got himself into starting the tournament. With even competent goaltending, this is looking like a win.

What I didn't know, is that Gaudreau is incompetent.

i am in the same boat, with the Finnish goalie. I am not sure he will get a start again after the Swiss loss, though I don’t think he was really to blame for that one.

Shouldn't have taken Nolan Allen over David Spacek. Sigh.

Sapovaliv with 4 points though. Slafkovsky who?

Lindbom has 50% of the BarDown points.

Suchanek has about 50% of the Mozes points.
