2022-23 World Junior Championships Draft Scoring

  • Xenforo Cloud is doing server maintenance Thurdsay 13th at 9 AM GMT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. Server changes were implemented recently to cope with the traffic surge last week. This seems to be affecting the user login, so please anyone experiencing this, log out and clear the browser cache. We expect to have this issue solved once the maintenance is complete.
  • We are currently aware of "log in/security error" issues that are affecting some users. We apologize and ask for your patience as we try to get these issues fixed.

Yep. It sounds like @Soli is picking a player not on your roster so you will just need to pick a replacement defenceman.

I'm picking a player not on his roster, correct.

@Jumptheshark will need to replace Seamus Casey, I believe he's cut, designated an injury replacement player.

Finland/Austria has started so any replacement players will need to come from the other teams.

@The Head Crusher's secret relegation weapon not playing today.

Finland is playing Switzerland, Austria is playing Sweden. And my guy is Austrian there Soli.

Edit: Well shit looks like he is out, trying to figure out if it is injury, illness, or healthy scratch.

Do I? We have this fight every year it seems with a discrepancy between the score sheet and the rules. I thought the rules said it had to be a SOL to get the point.

I thought we did, my argument being it's in my table that I adapted from SK13 back in the day. I tried to put goalie assists in there one year but otherwise unchanged. Speaking of which, we've always included goalie assists as well!

Theres…no..thread…for…EDM…WJC…Prospects?

Spacebar…Broken?

@Cerebral can we get an official ruling
I honestly can't remember if we've counted OT losses in the past as a point. The scoring guide says a SOL = 1 point, so I'm inclined to stick with that we have past precedent (in which case we should just change the official scoring).

Ahhhhhh. The Americans don't even play back-to-back, so hopefully this is just the coach getting both goaltenders in and saving Mberenko for the tougher opponent.

They also saved these games for their back ups anyways.

Ok I’ll make sure to update that on my scoresheet
