To answer your question Soli, Suchanek did not get a point for the OTL, however never forget the 4 goalie assists he had.

Congrats Mozes on a good victory!

So I would have beat him if I got the goaltender right. Twist that knife.

SO or OTL no?

Before we wind down and bid adieu for 12 more months, just want tell ya'll I really look forward to this annual tournament with our lil group. Thanks for another year guys.

I honestly can't remember if we've counted OT losses in the past as a point. The scoring guide says a SOL = 1 point, so I'm inclined to stick with that we have past precedent (in which case we should just change the official scoring).

Ahhhhhh. The Americans don't even play back-to-back, so hopefully this is just the coach getting both goaltenders in and saving Mberenko for the tougher opponent.

SOL as per the scoring guide on the draft page and cerebral. Sucks because it would have been the only points my goalie got me but thats How the chips fell.

Loved seeing an Edmonton kid score the golden goal and players of the game

Too bad he’s toiling with the Yotes
I wished there was some rules that after 1st round, every team got a homegrown talent round - where they set a veto on a player that been hockeyraised in their hometown area.

That would benefit all me thinks. Small markets could then also get homegrown talent to attach to, Note: They could just draft in that conditions in this round. After that a real 2nd round begins.

I’m still not sure how I managed to weasel my way into this group however many tourneys ago it was but I’m so glad I did, definitely one of the main highlights of hf for me. I’ll be anxiously awaiting the thread next December.

Congrats @McMozesmadness on the win!! Didn’t think anyone was catching Soli after the first couple Bedard games but ya managed to pull off the improbable!

What did everyone think of Halifax and their support of the tournament? It’s a hockey mad city. Probably too small for NHL ( a new bigger arena would be needed) , but if built, they would be the Green Bay Packers of the NHL. Every game would be a sell out. It’s hockey mad city
