He had an awkward fall into the boards from a check IIRC. But the Kings haven't really said anything specific about what got injured.

Given he played a game or 2 after the fall, then went back out again I’m not convinced it’s the same injury. People are assuming it is, which is understandable as no information is forthcoming. Fiala is a different story though.

If we take 4+ penalties the game is over. We have maybe 2 goals per game in us unless skinner totally detonates under pressure.

That's why I think it's something that happen in the Jets game or the Blues game, which was 4-6 days later. He played 14:45 vs the Blues taking 19 shifts. So it could've happen around there too. Is there a site that tracks shifts per game stuff?

There is a fairly strong chance that we see both of those speed bumps in the lineup at the same time, at least until one of Fiala or Gabe come back.

I’d love to see the kings smack the entire town of Edmonton into summer depression but I don’t have a lot of hope given who’s hurt. Sucks because if we had our guys I really think we’d have a great chance but alas.

Without Fiala and Vilardi this team is going to struggle to win one game. I think Kings beat the Oilers with a Kings healthy roster. Plus Kings need to send a statement to McDavid on the first shift. A huge Anderson hit would be the best.
