Gregor can't even finish on his trade request.
Those reports were off target.Gregor can't even finish on his trade request.
Grier, come on down!
Yet I was called dumb and like talking to a brick wall for not believing it. There are many reasons to call me those things. Not believing Gregor asked for a trade is not one of those.
It wasn’t his uncle. It was whoever does a podcast/works with his uncle.Didn't the original report come from Noah's uncle or some such thing? Either way, denying the trade request is pretty par for the course even if you did ask out. He may or may not have. I don't think it matters much. I can't see Gregor staying in teal to start next season.
I wish it was Gregor sent to Tampa for Namestnikov than Eyssimont either way. lolIt wasn’t his uncle. It was whoever does a podcast/works with his uncle.
This is my exact opinion. I have no idea why Eyssimont was moved. Especially because we got nothing in return. I’m still waiting to see if Namestnikov is moved as he still doesn’t have a number or has even come to SJ yet from what I’ve seen.I wish it was Gregor sent to Tampa for Namestnikov than Eyssimont either way. lol

I don't know. Even if they flip Namestnikov for a 5th, yeah it's good value for a waiver pickup but Eyssimont brought some nasty to the team that they need to stay competitive and entertaining. Plus he took a lot of penalties to help them lose that way. lolThis is my exact opinion. I have no idea why Eyssimont was moved. Especially because we got nothing in return. I guess if you are flipping Namestnikov for a 5th, was Eyssimont not worth that 5th? It feels like an unnecessary step if it’s to acquire a pick (unless it’s a high pick which would make no sense).I don't know. With so many more players being available this week, low key feel like no one cares about BoninoJohnston just reported that Dorion is looking for a centre. Bonino?
The entire east went pretty hardBoston is so stacked. What a perfect year to not make the playoffs. Could you imagine if the Sharks second ever SCF appearance they had to face this Boston team.
I think Eyssimont might have some value to teams who seem him as someone with maybe a little untapped upside. But, if you're a contender looking to get a sure-fire depth piece, Namestnikov (especially at his new cap hit) is a more desirable piece.I guess if you are flipping Namestnikov for a 5th, was Eyssimont not worth that 5th? I mean yes and no. Namestnikov isn’t very good anymore. Eyssimont is the exact type of player that playoff teams love though. I don’t think Namestnikov is good defensively or ever has been. ROR had one bad season and it wasn’t even that bad. Namestnikov hasn’t been good for like 4 or 5 years now. (Might be exaggerating on how long but it’s been a bit).Yeah but pedigree is a big deal in this league (see: O’Reilly). His reputation of being a good dependable defensive forward on a championship team should help.
A Devils fan was asking about Bonino. They offered Zetterlund (this was before the trade) or Boquist. Would we be able to trade him to make that a guaranteed first in 2024?
