Barabanov? I really wonder if Grier explores moving him with Johnsson and Zetterlund in and Cuda looking real bad.We gotta get another 1st rounder imo. Not sure how if EK65 is staying
Barabanov for a secondBarabanov? I really wonder if Grier explores moving him with Johnsson and Zetterlund in and Cuda looking real bad.
Probably trade at draft. We gotta get another 1st rounder imo. Not sure how if EK65 is staying
I’d keep Zetterlund. I don’t think Reimer returns more than a 3rd or 4th. I’d try to get something else for Barabanov, either a first or a prospect attached. I could see them exploring a trade with one of their D (not Karlsson or Benning).Barabanov for a second
Zetterlund for a second
Riemer for a second
Bonino for a fourth
...
I can dream, right?
Even if he’s here through the end of the season, he can still be traded before the draft to make that happen. We gotta get another 1st rounder imo. Not sure how if EK65 is staying
His piece also talked about Holtz and then he tweeted that Holtz hadn’t been discussed an hour later lol.David Pagnottas piece today said teams like Barabanov but Grier doesnt want to move him.
Not expecting him to move but if he did, probably atleast a second+ would return.
Why on earth does Grier want to keep him?David Pagnottas piece today said teams like Barabanov but Grier doesnt want to move him.

I don't see there being much risk in Barabanov losing value if they kept him before the trade deadline of his final year on the contract. Why on earth does Grier want to keep him?
Bonino is a 3rd best case scenario. Reimer is maybe a 4th.Is it fair to assume we are still one goalie heavy, and Reimer will go as insurance to a playoff team - 2nd or 3rd there?
Bonino goes to a playoff team to stabilize a third line - 2nd or 3rd there?
Would be stellar to pick up (2) 2nd’s right there and flip something else for another 1st - that’s the dream.
Same rationale then for we should’ve kept Meier and QO’d him and traded him this summer or next TDL. 2 playoff runs are worth more than 1.I don't see there being much risk in Barabanov losing value if they kept him before the trade deadline of his final year on the contract.
Neither will get that. Id expect fourth rounders max for those two.Is it fair to assume we are still one goalie heavy, and Reimer will go as insurance to a playoff team - 2nd or 3rd there?

I doubt that moves the needle for teams as it relates to Barabanov. I think he's going to be worth a 3rd round pick regardless. Don't think the Sharks need that 3rd round pick now.Same rationale then for we should’ve kept Meier and QO’d him and traded him this summer or next TDL. 2 playoff runs are worth more than 1.
Its been talked about. Really makes no sense, but Grier loves BU players.Have you guys heard of a trade possible between Nashville and SJ over Fabbro?

Cost would probably be like a second+ I assume
Ill throw my phone at concrete if that happens, but its not unrealistic. You did just trade for NJ's 1st.
You did just trade for NJ's 1st.
That would be atrocious. I really don't think that would happen. It might be a project for project trade -- Labanc or someone for Fabbro.
OK, look what Jeannot got... 24 year old RHD.
You aren’t getting the only decent piece we got for our franchise forward, f*** off with that. You did just trade for NJ's 1st.
