I would be interested in that swap. Holtz, Mukhamadullin and the 1st sounds pretty decent
Im okay with that! Though I dont know if NJ can afford it if Sharangovich doesnt go back, but oh well! Not my job lol

It would fit nicely into the 1st+2 B prospects price range for sure.
Id think Holtz is considered an A prospect! He was a PPG in the AHL at 19-20 and has a wicked shot

Mukhamadullin is probably a B prospect though!

The way it was contextualized by the reports are that A level prospects are blue chip prospects like Hughes.

Mukhamadullin is a true B prospect. He decided to go to NA next season to get adjusted to NA hockey.
BTW, he gotta work hard in gym, because he has a lack of physicality and still very raw.

I saw many posts about Nikishin. He plays great in KHL, he really may become a first pair D in NHL in the future. The only non-political issue I see is his heart anomaly. He missed one of the WJC because of it. Later, doctors in Germany said that anomaly is okay to play hockey but who knows how it will affect him at NHL level.

EDIT: Nikishin`s KHL contract expires after 2024/25 season. EP has wrong info in his profile.

Yeah waiting 3 years scares me a bit. Just no way to predict what happens in Russia in the coming years

If the Sharks were to make a trade with Edmonton, who do you think the Sharks would be interested in?

Let’s not get too excited about a top 10 pick being the main piece.

Don’t forget Timo himself was a top 10 pick, would go top 10 in a redraft, and it was a super stacked draft class.

I’d want more than a draft pick that we hope turns out to be as good as Timo because there’s a very real chance anyone outside of the top 4 won’t be.

I haven’t forgotten. I went Timo to stay and lead.

This is cool Timo news. NYR and NJD wont have a very valuable 1st. Gotta help with the bids. Youd think if someone is offering a top 15 pick that NJD would have to send more in their 3rd piece +

No one would trade a guarantee at an 18 year old player as good as Timo for 26 year old Timo. We’ve already gotten a lot of value out of Timo for the past 7ish years. He only has a couple prime years left (on average forwards tend to start declining around 28 years old), so most of his value has been extricated. A top-10 pick would be a good return for Timo, like the 7th overall was a solid return for DeBrincat.

Montreal makes no sense for Timo, they’re in the same boat as us. But if they were, Florida’s 1st would be an interesting chip.

The more teams that want Timo the better, let’s get this bidding war started. Montreal’s picks look awful nice.
I don’t trust the florida pick being the centerpiece as I do think they’ll find a gear and make a move. May not be playoffs but I can see it being like 16th

The more I think about it the less I really want NJ to be the final trade. We just wont be getting Nemec or Hughes and everyone after that is a big question mark, and the pick is bound to be late.

I would put a crazy conditions to make sure the pick was in the top ten, but obviously not in the top 5.
