I think the goal tending has been pretty bad but the D sucks.

I don't know what its going to take for this team to wake the f*** up and realize that this cannot continue like this. This team has absolutely no killer instinct, lacks composure, lack of discipline, lack of focus. All of the above. How f***ing serious are you about improving on last year? Because while the record is better at this point compared to last year, it certainly feels like a step backwards. And the goaltending I think holds most of the blame, the defense needs to get its act together stat because they're not doing our goaltenders any favors. This game should've done in the first 10 minutes.

This might be the most pathetic group of players I've ever seen in a Kings uniform together. A team this talented just with a complete absence of hockey IQ, defensive play, or effort. How do you give up on a lead by giving up almost exclusively chances right in front of the net, multiple breakaways, multiple odd man rushes, with so many on the PK. Most peewee teams do this better than them

They got all these prospects that will never get a chance to play on the Kings. A lot of their ELC contracts expire in the same year. Better package some of them for a solid defensive Dman. Or call up Spence.

Both goalies have allowed some bad goals, but I wonder if it's more about the defense's inability to limit scoring chances. I haven't bothered to check stats so I dunno, but having both goalies with just horrible numbers is weird.

That somehow makes this even worse. It's not like they can point to the goalie and say these were all stoppable. 2 breakaway goals off lazy turnovers and no effort to backcheck, a man left alone in front of the power play, and a point shot when you triple screen your own goalie

Seriously, 3 goals allowed where you have 0 coverage and the scorer is on the crease when he scored

The defense and team defense as a whole is absolute garbage. Goaltending needs to be better sure, but your trying to portray yourself as some clairvoyant and saying Copley is somehow the answer, come on man.

I think the defense looks so bad because the goalies aren’t looking like NHL goalies so the mistakes on defense while I concede there’s been many, look a lot worse due to poor goaltending.

It’s honestly a Todd issue. Him not knowing which direction to lead this team is why the team always looks so confused. Having an identity helps to fix that but we still have none.
