It’s because every game that Cal has has been bad games and is like ten years younger while getting paid really well. Quick has earned this right to suck now that he’s 37. Cal hasn’t earned that right.
Sorry, Quick hasn’t earned that right either
Time to move Vilardi on the 2nd line for Ardvisson. Arvy is playing well but Vilardi needs more minutes.
Pretty sure that won’t have an effect on the goals being scored against us.

Cal has gotten worse every single season.

Everyone tells me we have great goaltending development though.
I mean, what other goalie has gotten worse in LA in recent years? I know there's been some talk about prospects not becoming NHLers of late, but that doesn't surprise me with how little draft capital has been put on goalies vs lottery tickets.

Cal's issue is mental and in my opinion, a lack of effort/desire to get better

The beginning of this period says it all. Trailing because you can't play defense/don't care to, and you immediately have a backdoor chance because the backside D isn't paying enough attention to positioning, and another Jet is open in front for a tip attempt

Just got home. I don’t care about the final result of this game but this is some lousy hockey. The worst part is that I’ve never seen a Kings team this talented, but I can’t remember a team this bad o their own end either.

All the better for him to master the basics and get his confidence back with the Reign! Copley is hot right now and the Kings could use that.

yeaaaa theyre tuning TM out.
This season is a pivotal moment to fire Todd and find a coach that can finally after all these years set together a message to make the team buy into. I don’t blame the players as much as I blame coaching for the sheer reason Todd said 5 games ago this team is looking for their identity which is scary when he’s been the coach for a few years now. It heavily suggests he has no idea what direction he wants to lead the team

I don't hate the idea. Not like he'll get claimed (and if he did, better for us). You play him 8 of 10 games and force him into swimming or sinking

The Kings just fold when bigger teams get physical with them. And honestly, you HAVE to re-sign Moore.
I don't get the sentiment I've seen on here that he's so easily replaceable internally, he was amazing the last half of last year and in the playoffs

trotz, quennville and babcock available

The nice thing about Moore goals is that I find more goalies I share something with

The better move is to trade Arvidsson. I like him, but a spot will need to open as more guys come up
