That might have been my favorite game to watch in a long time. The Brownie stuff to begin was better than I expected and the team being so dominant just made it so much better. It was so funny to hear Brown talk about that first cup, someone on here said that was 10 years ago and we are getting old. It made me realize a part of why I love the Kings and the sport, it really becomes a part of your life. I met my future wife during the lockout following that first cup win and watched the banner raising against the Hawks at her apartment(that game sucked, but it was awesome anyways). 10 years on and I'm an old as shit with a family, but I have so many memories related to the team. From the second cup run, the all star game, meeting Bob in the PR section and even chatting with everyone here. Tonight was really cool just in that it really reminded me of how much fun it is to be a fan.

I’m loving all these photos..

But man.. Malkin really is such a piece of shit. I remembered Alfredson winding up and sniping Neidermayer the way he just aimed that slap shot at Durzi. What a f***ing loser.

He's tried to hurt a king in every game he's played against them. took a long run at Doughty, he missed, Drew called him a terrible hockey player and laughed at him. Was the slapper on the Andersen penalty?

Also, that was a solid chop at Edlar after the penalty was called on him. Both guys should've got two.

watching Crybaby skate after the ref whinning about getting a 10 , then another 10, plus a game for telling him to f-off multiple times was hilarious!

Fairly certain he realized there was 10:14 left in the game and didn't want to have to sit in the box for all but 14 seconds so he went the extra mile for the early shower.

Easily one of the best games I've ever seen live. The perfect night and so fitting that Kempe, the player who took over Brown's #1 RW spot to be the first to score 4 goals in a game since Brownie himself. Couldn't have been any sweeter. Fitting for Copley as well to get his first LA shutout after signing his deal.

The building was alive again last night for all 60 mins , the lines for beer and food were long , buzzing with conversation, seen many familiar faces that shared good times with in the past , nothing makes a Sunday morning better than a good Saturday night at a kings game let’s hope for a run of games played like last nights

God damn I hate that team. No voice after last night and what a fitting win on Brownie’s night against Shitsburgh. I had a whole row of Pens fans next to me who kept saying don’t poke the bear, the bears been poked after the elbow on Malkin. That shit couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy. Did he pull more of his cheap shit in this game? I got pretty sauced by the 3rd but loved seeing Sidney whine his way out of the game.

Pssh. The Kings gave that bear a whole colonoscopy.

So Brown never mentioned Sutter, huh? Lol
He did. Stoll and Brown had a segment where they reviewed some of Brownie's greatest moments in the Kings video room. They reminisced on Sutter a few times, including how he didn't let them celebrate until they went up by 4 goals in the final minutes of the 2012 clinching game.

Rewatched the condensed game highlights, and man Fiala and Byfield were just creating so much space for their linemates on key rush and possession chances. Vilardi does the same thing and it’ll be great to get him back soon.
It was a shocker seeing Byfield on that first unit PP. His big @SS in front of the net was nice to see. Placing him on Kopi's line was one of the best thing Todd has done. About time.

...and poor Fiala, marooned on the 3rd line had to settle for two lowly assists.

One thing about Brown no one ever mentions but I really admired about him. Whenever he got a penalty -- deserved or not -- he never pissed and moaned about it. He just dutifully skated to the box.
And look at his record penalties against number vs penalties drawn numbers.
This is the way to go don't say anything to the refs,
Nobody is perfect.
I thought that too. The Pens coach was staring daggers at Tmac. You start playing dirty in a losing effort, the first unit goes out.
Been some huge scores and big comebacks this season..
So in addition, I don't think you play that way anymore, especially against high power.
