I was pretty hard on him since I felt like up until his contract year his glaring inconsistency made me question the career year he had. Pleasantly surprised to see he’s actually carrying over after getting signed.

I don't think you could have scripted a better night for Brownie. 60 minute dominance, Kempe with a record 4 straight, Crosby tantrums, big saves and the shutout for Copper coming off his big contract extension, all this coming out of a 10 day break and setting the tone for the rest of the way. The way they marketed this game I'm glad all the fans got a great show tonight. Good night to be a Kings fan.
