That's what happens when you bring Stefan's offspring to camp I guess

Winning in spite of themselves, it's so ugly.

At least tonight I thought they did well until Arvy's brain death, most of the issues were caused by either Durzi or shit reffing or both. I'm not sure I've ever seen a game that the linesmen influenced more directly and more frequently than tonight.

Absolutely bonehead move there by Arvy but you gotta feel for him and you'd hope a couple teammates could yell from behind and help him out there. He looked mortified on the bench.

Danault ultimately helped him out there. The Kings so far are giving up more goals but as an aside I love that they are quickly scoring after giving up them up.

Holy f*** RV what were you doing? Shades of Patrick Stefan right there. Danault once again proves to be a GOAT.

Arvidsson should still sit next game. Durzi had to sit a game, so should Arvidsson. He gave away an extra point and one less regulation win for tie-breaker purposes.
Durzi’s pass got intercepted at center ice and the unit couldn’t stop the rush from the pass. He sat for that.

Arvidsson had the puck right in front of the net but lazily skated to the front until it was stolen. He has to sit or shits gonna be sour in the locker room you bet your ass

that ending, just wow! from victory to near defeat back to victory ! VA is off the hook for that lolly gaging empty net screw up!

I'm feeling good about the offense for the first time in a LOOOONG time. Gabe looks like an entirely different player, and Kempe is proving that last year was not an anomaly or one-hit wonder. Kopitar is off to a good start (I thought father time had finally caught him, but he's still got it), and for Byfield it's only a matter of time until the goals start coming. Definitely NOT looking like a bust.

As far as time on ice goes, the 16:34 for Vilardi was 6th on the team (Moore and Danault led the way at 20+ minutes) and Byfield had a respectable 12:51 at even strength. Kempe and Kopitar below 19 minutes as well. Pretty happy with that.
