Even if Blake wanted to make a change and let the kids play and go for a tank for this draft - he would have to move some guys to make room. He went all in on a veteran roster. Kings are destined for that energy sucking event horizon (black hole)

Agree that easily couldve been called - and that triggered the complete implosion, but they have sucked all game, i still think they'd be down 2 or 3

FFS what a frustrating period. I was thinking to myself, wasn't the best 1st period, but they got out of it and really didn't give the Leafs any grade A chances. Clean that up and we can win this game.

I think the biggest issue is having a good goalie. Quick should be backing up not being a starter. Sadly we have absolutely no one even close to becoming a starter unless we mortgage the farm. And this is what Blake may have to do. Not even sure who's even available.

They fed Quick three breakaways in three minutes and a number of oddman breaks including a 4-on-1.

Sure our goaltending has been in the tank all season but those issues aren't just Quick not stopping random shots.

He kept them in the game, gave them a chance.
