I think the biggest issue is having a good goalie. Quick should be backing up not being a starter. Sadly we have absolutely no one even close to becoming a starter unless we mortgage the farm. And this is what Blake may have to do. Not even sure who's even available.

Even if you find a decent goalie, what kind of assets will it require? then the defense is still swiss cheese.. I read this situation as a clear tank - develop your youth... sellers at the deadline.. Be relevant next year.
