If he's confused it probably means he's lost the team.. again the roster is not conducive to a winning season.. but if he was a stronger leader, he would demote DD and Kopi and maybe even assign a new captaincy. yeah, and the thing is lets just say he's just saying that to the media not meaning any of it, but you see it in the way he coaches. I think it's pretty clear that he's lost. Before tonight, the last time a goalie won a game while allowing 8+ goals was more than 30 years ago. On February 23rd 1991, Mike Vernon allowed 8 goals on 22 shots - but the Flames scored 10 goals, with Al MacInnis and Theo Fleury both scoring 5 points.

The only acceptable quote after a loss like this is along the lines of… “there will be accountability for this, players need to earn their spots of they will sit…”

The post game quote bothers me far more than the actual on ice performance. Zero leadership.
