Good win and Kings came out with no injuries. Play offs next. It is no surprise what the game plan will be against the Kings. Their opponent whomever it is will be bullying the Kings. They are going to come at the Kings real hard with the checks and the cheap shots cause they know the Kings allow themselves to be pushed around and get flustered. The remedy is the Kings are going to have to stand up to it. Hit back hard, they don't have to get dirty but push back with good hard hitting checks knocking them on their rears and if that player hit gets injured, that is hockey. If the Kings take it and wait for the refs to care of it, they are going to get killed.

It’s just truly amazing to me that fans who spend so much time on an NHL messageboard apparently don’t watch any other NHL games. I watch games from 7 to 1 every day, there is not a team in the NHL that is intentionally targeting other teams best players with intent to injure cheap shots, but it doesn’t stop people on here from calling for it.

They will of course spin it that we don’t want any kind of toughness of any kind because we don’t want our best players (who are iconic franchise icons) to be caught in a stupid back and forth cheap shot game.

Yeah it’s kinda funny how with the playoffs coming up and the games getting more meaningful that players are getting injured. That’s very disingenuous.
