He's definitely coasting.... His team is so stacked that I can tell sometimes they are avoiding passing him the puck because they are all actual roller players lol

Interesting. Can’t say I agree that Strome will be ahead of McTavish in 23-24, let alone 24-25. Very conservative predictions from Stephens.
Will see, for a center Strome might be better suited. On the other hand, he might not, especially given his poor faceoff performance.

The biggest eyebrow-raiser for me was Lundestrom absence eventually. I think that speed and PK will make him a very appealing NHL player for many years. Maybe he thought he would grow into a bigger role? But then we could move Strome to wing.

I don't loke to hear the coasting part. But it's offseason so...

What I loved from him at the end of the year was that he was moving his feet. In the NHL and in the WC. He had similar role in his WJC gold team.
If he does that, he's a very good role player for any team. Can play heavy, hard to contain and has nose for the net. Great combination, but hard to maintain. We'll see

He's definitely coasting more than anyone but I also don't blame him much lol Comtois team has like 25 shots and the other team has like 3 yet Comtois team is losing 1-0

He just scored on a goal line one timer. Everyone was amazed and the goalie couldn't believe it. Crazy angle. Here's the ref asking him how he scored it lol

I think something to keep in mind is, he's not contracted to play for this team. An injury while playing for a rec team could be devastating and unadvisable for his career.

Perhaps that's the reason he's coasting.

Last time he played roller hockey in summer he had his best year

Ah, I thought he didn't play in the last one.

Commer dropped the gloves? Lol, nice. Well, we will need him to do that since we don't have any enforcers

No idea. He has 2 goals and a huge hit though his team won 5-2.
Sounds good, if it turns out the coasting was due to the fact it's offseason.

If he's coasting with the Ducks, he will not last too long, but if he plays like the end of last year, he will be a very useful player. As simple as that, IMO.

Am I the only 1 who thinks stolarz should be traded and give dostal back up duties
Yes, Dostal isn't ready for NHL he has a lot to learn. Gibson goes down and you would be in some deep shit with another year of getting owned every night affecting our young players. I'd definitely give Dostal a couple games here and there but I'd leave him in the A until next season otherwise.

No because Gibson always gets hurt for a decent amount of time. I’d listen to offers for him because cheap backups are always appealing, but I wouldn’t just shed him. Another year in the A won’t hurt Dostal either. Hopefully the team in front of him is better this year.

I see Drysdale taking a step back also in production because Klingberg will most likely take his spot on PP1 next to Z. What I am curious about is Fowler, Drysdale, and Shattenkirk. One of these guys will lose their PP spot, hopefully it's Shatty. Drysdale needs to develop still, and Fowler had a career year last year. Would be a slap in the face to take him off where he succeeded.
