Call him up, stupids!Bourque with 2 goals so far tonight. He is red hot
Faksa 1.0Tufte seems like he does everything very well except create offense, which I'm not sure is physically possible for him.
Kind of disrespectful to Faksa. More like Faksa 0.1Faksa 1.0
Based.Just came back from Grushnikov's last OHL game. He wasn't great (he apparently was one of the best players on the ice in Game 3 according to some diehard fans), but he made a huge play late in the third to tie it back up at 4–4.
Brandt Clarke was booed the entire game after some antics he did in Game 3 and 4. After he scored to make it 3–1 Hamilton, he went around the rink and taunted the fans for quite a while. Then during a tv time-out, he subtly pretended he was jacking off toward the crowd. I'm honestly surprised he (and a handful of Barrie fans) made it out of the rink.

Note to self: When looking for this gif in the future, it's probably best not to do a google search for "jerk off gif".
Stranges a legit chance to make the nhl someday? He’s got the skill.Another goal and assist for Bourque tonight. 10 points in his last 4 games
Stranges another assist as well
Reminds me of Janmark/Chaisson, a bottom 6 winger but could look good if needed and steps in if he gets the chance.Stranges a legit chance to make the nhl someday? He’s got the skill.

Peterson as well.
A different role cause he doesn’t have that size but could see a future fit in the top 9; Stankoven, Bourque, and Damiani have shots first.Stranges won't have a NHL career if he doesnt become a top 6 player imo. Definitely doesn't have bottom 6 qualities unless his game has changed significantly this year
I guess he could maybe carve out a role as a 3rd line scoring winger PP option, a similar role to what Dadonov is in right now perhaps
Stranges-Bourque-Reedy has been the nominal top line recently, but there's a lot of line blending going on.Does anyone honestly believe Damiani will even be here come training camp? Stranges I think is one of those guys who's going to need another season or 2 in the AHL to round out his game but he's so dynamic teams may have to live with less than stellar defense like Domi or Skinner in Buffalo.
I will say this though. Limited minutes, limited opportunities, especially at the beginning of the season, kid put his head down and worked. Some kind of improvement must have happened because he got his chance in late March and has put up respectable numbers. 4 of his 12 points have come on the power play but that means 8 have not and down the stretch with the team trying to secure the division title and home ice he's playing.
If he's in the lineup in the playoffs, which seems likely and still producing it'll be hard to argue he hasn't had a good season. 7 points in his last 6 games and +4 overall in that span seems awful nice. In comparison Damiani has 2 points in his last 6 games and is a -3. Anyone know who Stranges is playing with and on what line? 2nd, 3rd?
What happened to Adam Masherin? I thought he was going to play in Italy or something, noticed he is back in the SHL and he can't produce shit. This dude really ruined his career pretty quickly and he was one more AHL season away from getting a couple NHL games in an injury callup, now he will be playing second-division European hockey next year at like $50,000 USD. Ouch.
