Weird decision to start Flower last night. Didn't the other guy save 41 straight shots to win game 1? What more did the coach want?

The commentators were speculating about that during the broadcast after Fleury'd been shelled. Their best guesses were that they're trying to not overwork Gustavsson after a 2OT game since he's young and not accustomed to a heavy workload, and that they could afford to rest him because they felt they were sort of "playing with house money" having already taken one on the road.

If 1A and 1B ever worked in the playoffs before it was certainly not forced like last night. They got what they deserved imo.

But maybe coach is just afraid of not letting Fleury play. At least now he has an excuse not to.

Yeah. At this point, I can't stay awake to the end of the second period of the Western Conference games. I just watch the highlights in the morning. If I stay up past midnight, I feel like a braindead slug the next morning.

Half of Guerin's moves have been about getting his former Pittsburgh buddies over to hang out with and forcing Fleury and Goligoski on the team. It's why Talbot wanted out so bad last summer. As many issues as I have with GMBM I would take him over Guerin in an instant.

Just your typical chippy-ness at the end of a playoff blowout, with refs removing the guys involved to keep things from getting out of hand. Nothing outrageous.

McDavid is very quiet so far. Guy has almost 2p/game in the regular season.

They can hand out Selkes to whoever they like but Danault is the best defensive forward in the league AINEC, even MacKinnon had PTSD from playing him back when they were in different conferences lol.

This has not been my experience. But then sleep has been my Achilles heel all my life. Started sleeping 12 hours a night at about 2 weeks old and still need a minimum of 9 hours. 10 or 11 is better.
