Pinelli with a hat trick. 41 goals 49 assist hundred points on the season in 59 games. I don't get too hyped about prospects but I've always like Pinelli. Not sure if he's eligible but hoping he gets a few games with the Reign after his season is over.

Edit: I meant 90 points. LOL.

He'll be eligible if the Reign are still going - should hopefully be on that roster next year too

KalPa (Simontaival) and Pelicans (Jamsen) are currently playing Game 5 in the first round of Liiga playoffs. Series is tied 2-2. Game is tied 1-1. Gonna watch a bit of the game while working; will try to jump in with feedback where I can, but you know... work.

And as I say that Jamsen gets an assist on the powerplay. Parked at the side of the net, made a few stickhandles under pressure, then fed it out front for his teammate to backhand it in. Took a crosscheck to the back after making the move, but seems okay.

KalPa has had 2 majors called against them today. One for cross-checking, another for boarding. I started watching after the cross-check, so can't describe it, but the board was pretty much textbook pushing the dude at that exact wrong distance away from the boards which causes him to go face-first into it.

The first major was shorter as Pelicans took a penalty during the powerplay. That's where Jamsen got his assist though - at the tail end of the powerplay.

Pelicans took another penalty and so the second major is also abbreviated.

Still 2-1 Pelicans with 6 minutes to go in the second.

Pelicans won 3-1.

Harvard is getting embarrassed, losing 4-0 less than 4 minutes into the second. Missed the first two goals as I was watching the Liiga game. But the latter two games, the goalie was channeling Dan Cloutier with the brutality of the goals.

So the Kings may be signing Laferriere shortly.

Well, now 6-0 in favor of Ohio State over Harvard. Defense isn't helping. Laferriere's man with the tap in goal (though in his defense, the two other defensemen failed to redirect the pass as well... yup, a 3-on-3 rush and they still got a quality shot).

I'm pretty sure Harvard still has only 8 or 9 shots.

Ohio State clobbered Harvard 8-1. Harvard broke the shutout with 3+ minutes to go. I thought Laferriere tipped the puck, but it ended up being tipped off John Farinacci's skate.

It was quite an interesting Farinacci sequence.

Between Harvard and Denver both being ousted (Denver lost last night), Erik Portillo remains the sole Kings player participating in the Frozen Four. Michigan plays tonight at 5:30 Pacific time.

Clarke with a goal and two assists with most of the 3rd period still to go.

Almost more impressively, Francesco Pinelli and the Kitchener Rangers are playing the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference. He has shorthanded goals in back-to-back games against the Windsor Spitfires, and he had another shorthanded assist as Kitchener won 4-0.

Kitchener's up 2-0 against Windsor.

Clarke with another nice offensive display.
He got faked out of his Athletic Supporter on one Dogs goal.
But yeah he is ready for the NHL. lol!

Hamilton was in his face all night. They constantly tried to prevent him from getting anything on net. He took plenty of cheapshots and kept on rolling. 1 g 3 a on the night. 3 g 7 a in 2 playoff games after leading the entire OHL in points per game in the regular season.

And he's a defenceman. Unreal.
