So we will have five players in the WJC, all with Canada and the US. The last European we had in the tournament was Dostal in '19-'20.

Actually, was sundsvik after that?

Edit: he was, so albin was the last European in the tournament in '20-'21

Clarke was in the scrimmage games... Scored at least one goal but skating was weird

Ya I remember him being in scrims…. If he got left off again that’s hilarious

I mean I’m not sold on Clarke at all really(to me he’s really boom or bust) …. But I do think he is 1 of the top 6 dmen they could have taken.

Man, what if Turc, Byfield and Clarke all flops? Kings would be livid.

I wish they will be successful players tho, nothing against them (and they certainly have time to prove themselves, I'm just stirring the pot).

Seems to be the likely case, if he doesn't make that team, well, it would be interesting at the very least

Ya I think byfield turns into a top 6 player at some point.

Turcotte I’ve completely soured on…. Maybe if he can stay healthy he becomes an energetic middle 6 player that can compliment skilled players.

Clarke never really been sold on as a star nhl player. I was more hyped about Mintyukov than I was Clarke in their draft years(before Clarke was a king).
