The Warriors being the leagues most successful franchise over the past decade is no surprise. They've remained super loyal to their core, and their core is a tight knit group that remains loyal to the franchise.

I'd attribute it even more to the organization embracing the latest evolution in the sport early, and most of all, to having an all-time great player leading that innovation to the way the game is played.

...it also doesn't hurt that they can afford to spend 300-350M on players in a league with a salary cap a little under 125M, but that's in part a function of their success...

I feel like Briere is a huge reason as to why Giroux refused to even have the Avs as an option. So, thanks Briere!
Actually he was interviewed here right after the Avs won the cup and said that he played with Landy and EJ and sounded real happy for them. I don't think that he hates the Avs.

I joked yesterday about Kuemper’s rights for a 2nd. Now I wouldn’t be surprised, someone is gonna overpay for his rights then overpay the f*** out of him with the way the goalie market is looking. Glad Joe got his move done first.
