is hank kempf hurt? or just being scratched?

I haven't heard anything definitive, but I would assume it's injury-related. He has missed the past three games after being entrenched on the first or second pair to start the year. @coz21 may know more.

I haven't heard anything definitive either. I would also assume injury though because the guys currently playing are not better than him.

Othmann got hit with a stick after a follow through. Is down on the ice being checked out and skates to the bench slowly

Bob also got his 14th tonight. 4-0 win.

Othmann with an assist and team high 6 shots in an 8-2 loss.

Red Deer is winning 2-1 through 2 periods. No points for Grubbe, but he's 13 out of 17 in the dot and has 3 shots.

Moose Jaw, no score after 1. Korczak 3 out of 4 on faceoffs with 2 shots.
Korczak has since scored a goal.

BMB hopefully turns into the draft steal this team desperately needs. I don’t remember hearing about his offense being this good. I always remember the story being defensive 2-way. Ignorance has to be claimed since I haven’t seen him play, but the Rangers need this guy in the system. I now hope it translates to the pros. We’ve seen too many guys disappear when they turned pro.

Grubbe is really intriguing to me.

Not a sexy player but am effective NHL bottom 6 guy that is starting to add offense.

Anyone watched him much?

Yeah. He really bounced back nicely after a year where he was playing catch up all year due to his knee surgery.

May not have the flashy upside to be a top-6 prospect but a Brett Howden-type is possible. Hopefully with a less polarizing NHL career.

This organization is starving for effective bottom 6 players that they develop. I liked this pick at the time from the rare side of it and just the base of what was there to make an nhl 4th liner. People act like effective 4th liners are useless but they are wrong. This org has been chasing them for almost a decade really since the days of prust and boyle

You're always better off developing them yourself than getting them in free agency.
