TOI is interesting to look at, there. Lafreniere with more TOI than all but one other forward (Stutzle) and Kakko more than all but Zegras and Jack Hughes. I think the lack of PP TOI (which to me is largely understandable) is one of the biggest contributing factors to their "disappointing" production.
And PP production can really boost a young players confidence as well, which impacts their overall game. If a young player netted himself a PP goal maybe he's not gripping that stick so hard at 5v5. Maybe he's not as afraid of making a mistake...
All in all I'm honestly not worried. I've seen the high upside flashes, and IMO it will eventually click.

I believe that's 12 points in his last 7 games and counting (he also has a primary assist tonight).


I'm intrigued by his teammate Jaroslav Chmelar. He can be a sleeper pick and make the NHL in 3-4 years if he continues to progress. Nor sure what his upside is Viktor Stalberg? Currently watching this game now
