Any chance Stapley gets a call up to Laval or are they already overflowing with forwards? His ECHL stats seem pretty decent.
Would much rather have Pitlick and or Richard brought up, younger guys that might still be NHL players5 pts in his last 2 games.
Curious if he can get another call up if the Habs move a few vets (Drouin, Monahan, Dadonov) at the deadline.
13 career NHL games for the 31 year old. Can he hit 20 this year?
Laval just sent up two forwards on emnergency recall. I expect at least one callup from TR, but not Stapley who is uinjured.Any chance Stapley gets a call up to Laval or are they already overflowing with forwards? His ECHL stats seem pretty decent.
Has Norlinder been as bad as his offensive numbers suggest?
If a year and half ago someone told me we'd have 5 rookie D play for us this year, and not one was Norlinder, I would've been shocked.
From watching the last game on RDS, he didn't seem to get any pp time. I do think he has adapted to NA hockey!I haven't seen the last 2 games but I'd say he's been playing well.

He adapted his style quite a bit with Laval and his offensive game did suffer, especially if you saw him in the Allsvenskan, where he was playing like a 4th forward at times. I'd say he's at a point now where he's a perfectly fine AHL level Dman, which is probably a bit underwhelming. He has one year left on his ELC though, he'll get another chance next season to show that he can be more than that.Has Norlinder been as bad as his offensive numbers suggest?

Starting to think if he has a future in the NHL it will be less as a potential offensive dman and more of a two-way guy that chips in a few points here and there.he started out on the PP, then was taken off, lately he's been back on the 2nd pairing.
To put it short he is working on his game by expanding on it? Going to get to see them live in March, brother got tickets for me, himself and my nephew and I think our dad as a Christmas present. Afternoon game against Utica.
That part is especially weird because with MODO he was flying on the ice, just constant motion. It must really be a mental thing.for me he's always been a boom or bust type, the offense has flashed but until he shows he can produce more and consistently. He'll never make the NHL though if he doesn't shake this skating at half speed crap.
This could mean they will call Desrosiers up from 3R. And they wanted Vrbetic down with 3R to get more games.
