Galipeau and Parker-Jones called up to Laval:

I know that Primeau is hurt and Fairbrother out for the season.

Last game, Bowey, Schnarr and Mysak did not play. Are any of them hurt?

Are there any new injuries since the last game started?

Any broken psyches from the tough practice?

- Barron is back to practicing with the team
- Mysak out 8-10 weeks with a LBI
- Primeau & Martel are still out with UBI
- Schnarr will return after Christmas
- Bowey & Simoneau need to continue to be evaluated

when you look at Laval's points leaders, Richard at the top which you expect but the next 3 are Ylonen, Simoneau and Abbandonato, not exactly how you would have likely thought it would look when the season started.
way late to the party but what is Richard's deal? Is there anything there?

Big step up for him this year, but he will turn 26 in a few days and it's his first great year in the AHL. I watched many Rocket games this year. He is very good at the AHL level on the first line and first PP, but on a fourth line in Montréal I don't know. He would need an offensive role to maybe become a late bloomer à la Marchesseault, but it's unlikely and I don't see the Habs giving him this opportunity. I said late bloomer à la Marchesseault who bloomed at 25 in the NHL, but I could have said à la Saint-Louis who bloomed in the NHL also at 25. But both Marchesseault and Saint-Louis were better in the AHL at a younger age. For Richard, it's really a big jumpup in production this year. Was he overlooked in the Nashville organization? I don't know.

It's not like our bottom 6 are world beaters. He deserves a shot to replace Pitlick and Pezzetta.

I wouldn't have expected such a good season from Richard, but in pre-season he looked very good.

I haven't watch a lot of Laval's game this season unfortunately. How would you guys rate Beaudin's game? Looks like he had quite the game (1g 2a). His stats surely look impressive since the trade, and he's still only 23. Does he have an NHL future?

For everyone clamoring for Slaf to be sent down, I don’t think this sounds like the ideal situation for him! Everyone Relax!

Without Richard the best offensive player is Abbandonato, although Pitlick has a higher ppg but only played 12 games so we'll see if he keeps it up. Ylonen a hair behind him and Simoneau a hair behind Ylonen in ppg.

If I told you that after Richard, Abbandonato was going to be your 2nd best forward ppg wise, or 3rd even, you would most likely think our offense would be shit but it's not and the problem is clearly on the defensive and goaltending side of things. Just odd how once again the vets in Laval are more the problem. Getting Simoneau back will help the offense and sounds like Schnarr won't be too far off either.

Was at the game last night, there’s very little talent on that team.

Pitlick and Belzile were a step above the other ones.

Norlinder is completely invisible. RHP plays a honest game but doesn’t display much skill.

Their PP is more dynamic than Montreal’s, though.

Good news: Schnarr and Primeau seem to have gotten the green light to return:.

Also, Beaudin is back from the Spengler Cup. He only missed two games due to the tournament. And Laval won both games.

And even better good news: Simoneau will play tomorrow.
