Both Geekie and Guenther with assists last night. Great they moved this to the Jets arena so we actually got some decent camera angles (ice venue is the worst setup in WHL and Seattle has the worst lighting). guenther drove the net and tied game in last minute but goal was overturned because of goalie interference (on Guenther)

Geekie was playing 3C with Nash and Shilo on his wings. Not conducive to racking up points. I agree that he looked good.

Szuber is playing well on the german national team.
Has been playing all 3 games so far and is a really good addition to the team.
Really sound defensively and his size is impressive.
Overall i think he might eighter go to the NHL next season or stay in germany for one more year.

Yes, Nemeth and Brown for one more year. Edit- Mackey is UFA.

Unless he has a European out clause, they most likely want him in the AHL for his development.

But i think they have another year before they have to sign him and some more time and Playtime in the DEL would do him good. He hasn't Player that much yet.

See Aku Raty as example. If drafted as an 18 year old from a country with transfer agreement there is a four-year window to sign. June 1 of the fourth year is the cutoff.

Four years if drafted at age 18 or 19. Two years if drafted age 20+.

Lutz was drafted at age 18.

Best way is to look at a particular player. Click here to go to Capfriendly reserve list page. Scroll over to the must sign by section. There you will notice the Russian and Swiss players are listed as “indefinitely” because those countries don’t have a transfer agreement.
