@BAdvocate how was the game?

Care to report on Guenther? Sneaky sniper or play-driving powerhouse?
Definitely Sneaky Sniper. As you can see from some of my photos, the seats gave me a "Birdseye" view of Guenther setting up for his one-timer on the power play during the 1st & 3rd period. Very reminiscent of the World Junior Championship as that's where most of his shots were from.

As for some of the other notable prospects (I'm far from a talent evaluator)...

Korchinski didn't really stand out to me...but that could just be me expecting too much because of his draft position.

I just realized the 3rd member of Guenther's line "Schaefer" I was watching was Reid Schaefer lol. He didn't really stand out. Lambert had a couple amazing stick handling sequences, but I was left with an impression of more flash than substance in his game.

Milic was impressive in goal.
Myatovic took all the big faceoffs and was one of the most noticeable throughout the game.

The game was decent....bad seats for the pre-game ceremony with Cam Neely and a few others as I saw mostly the back of heads and the back of the items raised to the rafters. Was hoping for OT, but "Wierd Al" Crnkovic spoiled that with about 3 minutes left and sealed it with an empty netter.

Here's the game highlights :

I think we want Guenther to practice being less of a sneaky sniper during this championship run but being paired with Lambert makes that hard. Lambert is a supreme puck carrier and a pretty good distributor. The best type of player for Lambert to be matched with is a sneaky sniper.

I think with Keller, Cooley, and Maccelli possessing the puck as they do, having a dedicated sneaky sniper like Guenther seems like it might be the best fit. Why have him worry about driving the play if he's paired with a linemate who's used to and needs possession of the puck to take advantage of their skills?

He can be our Brett Hull (Blues/Stars version - a version that doesn't like golf).
