Fedotov with 4 points in a KHL preseason game today. He had 2 points in 35 games last year. Hope he earns a more consistent role this year.
Definitely full time NHL.What’s the projection for JJ Moser this year? Is he going to be a regular NHL player or tweener in the minors?

I guess there’s a chance. He is a defencemanNorris.
Regular player. Probably finishes year in our top 2. Every situation player. Based on what we saw last year AZ fans are pretty pleased because most thought we reached on him a little early given his age. Those concerns are gone. What’s the projection for JJ Moser this year? Imagine after the 23 draft. Hopefully will have at least 5 in the top 50.We had three prospects on Wheeler’s top prospects under 23.
5-Cooley
21-Guenther

We didn’t quite crack Pronman’s Top10. But I didn’t expect to…yet. This is actually higher than I’d have thought. We need to pick three times in the 2023 1st.
What happens if we don't?We need to pick three times in the 2023 1st.
We’ll have likely missed a great opportunity to accelerate the rebuild because we picked a bunch of times in a relatively poor draft and picked significantly fewer times in a significantly better draft. What happens if we don't?

Those opportunities come at a cost and the cost of entering the 2023 1st round is astonishingly high. I tend to think the best opportunities are found where others aren't looking. We’ll have likely missed a great opportunity to accelerate the rebuild because we picked a bunch of times in a relatively poor draft and picked significantly fewer times in a significantly better draft.

I don’t think we get a first for him even if he has the same stats as last year. Would be happy with a 2nd.Chychrun should return a 2023 first, as should Ghost if he has a really good year and some team gets desperate to improve their power play.

It’s very possible to get another 2nd or two and then trade up. That’s more why I had in mind.Putting aside Crouse and Keller who none of us would expect to be traded, the only asset I see besides Chychrun (who should bring back a 2023 1st) is if Armstrong was willing to trade Schmaltz with 50% retention.
I personally think he would be leery to lock up another retention spot for that long with OEL already taking one, so I don't think he would do that. I also think with the new building, the team might prefer to keep Schmaltz around for entertainment value.
I don't see any other cap dump players or anyone else in the system who would bring back a 1st round pick. Getting a some more 2nd rounders could well be possible, however.
