This is the type of complete game he's capable of giving. Hopefully, with the right coaching, he'll develop into the perfect two way center he's meant to be at the next level.

He's impressed me most times i've seen him, which isn't as much as I had hoped as I still have lots of questions about just where the offensive upside really is but he does most things well so I would be shocked if at worst he doesn't end up a very solid 4th liner but if he can develop the offense over say the next 5 or so years, there's no telling how good he can be.

The stat watchers are ridiculous. The Pete's are a very conservative team and Beck was not going to score as much, same with Othmann.

I would like to see him stay in the OHL with a directive to push his puck skills to their limit, build some muscle memory with dynamic movements.

Owen Beck looks really good out there, first time I watch him in a while since the Petes were crap to watch and Beck didnt look like a kid who had much fun playing hockey anymore, But tonight is definitely the Owen Beck we saw at camp, skates really well, physical and looks confident out there, looks like a young Plekanec.
