I wouldn't say he had a rough game, but he does need a lot of work as to be expected from missing so much time, we'll just have to wait and see how much he can continue to progress or not. It's very hard to tell what prospects will progress vs which ones won't.Rough game for him. He’s gonna need a lot of AHL seasoning to work on that D. I don’t think one year would be enough honestly.
He really could cap out as a 3rd pairing guy PP specialist. All that loss of dev time really hurt but his D IQ just doesn’t seem that great. He’s got an uphill battle ahead of him
Both Tuch and Hutson will be wearing an A next season as part of BU's leadership group:
They'll have to make it a lower-case ''a'' for Lane, he's too small to fit a capital letter on his jersey
Beck hit - 15:42
Mailloux Goal - 18:24

It's where the rawness in his game shows a bit more. He just hasn't had a lot of reps for his age, both in practice and game scenarios . I'm confident he'll improve a lot with enough coaching/game experience.Feel like Mailloux would be so much better if he didn't get so rattled during oddman rushes against. I swear his decision making in those situations are so strange/panic filled.
He’s 20 playing against junior aged players. He shouldn’t look this lost, reps or not. If he was truly elite, the game would be easy for him right now. But right now, he’s simply being carried by his great tools. Toolbox is worrying. It's where the rawness in his game shows a bit more.
