Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. In her tweet she's talking about him dating many girls and them sending angry texts to him because he was seeing her. This tells me that it was way before the Avs days, probably back when he was with the Blues in his early 20's?
Now that brings the question...how old were they at the time? Was she 17 and he was 20? Or was she 14 and he was 27? That's not exactly the same crime.

I’m not going to lie, I’m a bit uneasy about how easy it is to ruin someone’s reputation with a throwaway twitter account. Even if all those allegations were found to be false, Cole’s reputation is ruined forever.

I'd feel worse and skeezier about it if Cole didn't literally just ruin his wife and kids life by cheating with the Cane's reporter. So while Cole does deserve his due process, he's clearly shown some tendencies that show that this could be legit.

So I just saw this and figured I would check in. First off this reminds me of a book I once read long before Twitter and the internets were around. The book was titled something like 1000 or 100 ways to get REVENGE. One particular example was of a neighbor constantly taking your parking spot. The book sited an example of priniting a bunch of posters that stated ( the person stealing your parking spot ) was a serial sex offender/pedophile which you would then place on cars in your neighborhood, mail boxes, etc and making sure the target got a poster or two. With Cole's other recent news of indiscretion, he may have someone out to get him. Not ruling the story out but I'll wait for further info.

Please. There is no such thing as "innocent until proven guilty" as it pertains to rape and sexual assault. Public accusations, unfortunately, are typically the only way for them to find justice when the criminal justice system does nothing but fail victims.

Well put. The Hockey Canada scandal and Blackhawks scandal should really show how corporations and the justice system continually fail rape victims.

Weegar is legit. Very Toews-like and I think he’s a top pair guy but just not a #1 guy. He struggled in the playoffs but that doesn’t define him and let’s keep in mind, Toews also just had his own struggles in the playoffs during the Avs run.

I still wonder what would have happened if Sakic had just doubled down that off-season and acquired Weegar alongside Toews (I fully realize it was probably never realistic for them to target both). There were early rumours that offseason that Sakic was looking to acquire Weegar.
Very likely means we don’t acquire Manson, may also mean that they actually take up EJ on the retirement talk.
