I'm reading poor Greer got boarded in a recent preseason game. That dude just cannot catch a break.

There will probably be some gaffes... but the single most underrated part of Johnson's game is his defense. He is a master with his stick and positioning. If he can be good enough on his skates to keep from being overpowered, he can shore up the defensive side quite nicely. Then you have Gaudreau who can transition the puck as well as anybody and both him and Johnson are great at keeping possession. Where Laine is just lurking and waiting to unleash his cannon. Could be the surprise line of the season. Could easily see them all above PPG if it works.

I wish you would get excited about the Avs' players as much as you get excited about other teams' players.
