I wonder who is more excited for the new practice facilities and locker room updates...the players or us hockey nerds on HFB.

Most prospect rating places have a cut off of NHL games. Bo is at 49 NHL games, so he's likely to fall under a lot of those by a hair. Pronman has his as 22 and under (which I vastly prefer) so Bo will be on there another year.

The only things the Avs have done since the Cup, other than re-signing players who were already on the roster:
- Drafted a player in the 6th and 7th round of the draft
- Traded for Georgiev

Four of those players were set to be UFAs and then locked up Lehky. It’s not like they only signed AHL guys…

Well when like TB signs 3 of their 2023 UFAs on the first day they can, and the Avs are sitting here on Mackinnon... the feeling of waiting till the 23rd hour like they did with Landeskog starts to loom.

Also, its nice those guys are back, but they didn't replace all those that left. 2C is still a glaring hole. Yes there's a cap, but get creative, do something to address it. Avs need to be aggressive and spend all futures to keep winning now.

There aren’t any good options, some of the moves I’ve seen proposed are so short sighted and desperate. Avs are still fine, I’d much rather they have that open cap space to accrue more if it through the season than spend it on spare parts that you’re desperately hoping fill a need.

As much as it would be great to get MacKinnon signed, if they think they can get the price down a bit by waiting all power to them.

I thought I was a pessimist, but boy, do I seem like an optimist compared to some folks around here.
