They’ve been insanely spoiled by elite goaltending.

What they should be more concerned about is the fact that now the goaltending is pedestrian and the power play isn’t scoring (specifically Kreider) at will, the Rangers look pretty ordinary.

I’m starting to reassess my thoughts on Gallant. I thought he was a great coach. But his stint in NY so far, even last year, has left me unimpressed.

Rangers rely heavily on the PP and goaltending. They just don't play that well 5 on 5, which is not a sustainable winning formula.

Rangers fans are tossing Shesterkin under the bus the same way Jets fans did last year to Hellebuyck. He's still providing positive effects, just not God Tier like he did last season. What he did last year, you don't see done two years in a row unless it's from a HHOF tier goalie. I remember last year that one poster claimed to be a rink maintenance guy in Halifax, who said it was literally impossible to turn over a rink from Basketball to hockey in 24 hours...


They did it in like 5 hours today in LA! Crazy.

They had a crazy 72 hour period in 2012 playoffs.
