I'm the opposite. I've never been big on that logo, but the white pants make it.

He did almost the exact same hit on Zach Hyman a few years ago. Edler also doesn't hesitate planting an elbow in a guy's numbers when he's in the corner.

That was a dirty and premeditated hit. Some players are good at disguising their dirtiness--Edler is the John Stockton of the NHL.

As a one-off, they're fine. A paean to what is quite possibly the crrrrrraziest jersey design of all time. The only one that would've topped it are the aborted third jerseys the Blues had lined up that Mike Keenan stopped dead in their tracks. I don't mind the Bolts saying "f*** it" and going for broke.

But to add traffic cone orange to the silver parts of what was a nutty, but fun design so that the oil drop looks like an egg yolk? No, no no no. They also looked really, REALLY bad on the ice.

Don't get me wrong, I fully realize they're ugly AF and I wouldn't take one even if it was given to me (well, okay, if it was free, I would) but that one still doesn't bother me. And the weird white-pants RR the Sabres are sporting doesn't either. Doesn't help though that the same year they just up and decided to bring back the actual Goathead uniform.

I don't blame a team for going big on these RR jerseys, may as well. That's why I don't like what the Oilers did, they just brought back one of the few old designs they actually have and made just enough changes to screw it up.

The RR should be a time to take a swing on something crazy. I'd have loved to see a 90s retro style kit with a full yeti theme for the Avs. I love my state but I am so over the hackneyed Colorado state flag colors and logo shit. Get weird with it and add some crazy shit to your jersey. Be more like the NBA and have like 6-7 different team jerseys.

Unpopular opinion coming... the Avs' jersey is already too 90s. Going more down that path just ends up more cringe than anything else. Only thing worst would be RR of the Air Force outdoor game.

The logo and mountain stripes are pure 90s. The Avs didn't go off the deep end like some teams did in that era, but you can easily tell what era the design came from.
