Who wouldn't take this man over that bum. Look at the pure joy on his face.

If it was someone else I might buy it was an accident but I think he knew what he was doing there.

What does he say about that? IIRC weren't a lot of Avs players at his wedding? Guys like Landeskog/EJ/etc.
Not word for word but this is what he basically says:

Earlier in his career, he just didn’t know anything. He handled some stuff really good, some really bad. He says he was really good with the money part, not spending like crazy, not getting overly greedy just being smart with it etc

The stuff he says he was bad is how his ups and downs bothered him way too much. When he scored a goal it was basically the best day of his life, on the other hand if he didn’t score he was miserable.
Even if the team won, he would act a bit immature if he performed bad and it probably rubbed people the wrong way.
He’s says as a young player he didn’t handle the pressure good at all off the ice (on the ice and training was good)

Off the ice, it took a while for him to figure out the social dynamics of being a NHL player. Didn’t really go out to parties, didn’t have much of a social life, it was hockey hockey hockey for him, and he had a really hard time when he first came up to the NHL. He says it took him like 5,7 years to really get comfortable being a NHL player off the ice.

Unlike now, when he came in the league, there wasn’t any understanding towards people that were a bit different (didn’t drink, party etc…) and he says there were a few guys that were supportive, but he also had a bunch of guys that just crapped on him as well. (Sounded like chris stewart to me lmao)

This is the last thing I'll post on the matter an leave it at that. I implore people to read through this and try to find that their empathy refocuses on the victim rather than the perpetrator, even it that doesn't fit your prerogative.

Absolutely appalling. As a parent I'm shocked by MM's parents reaction. I would have been so mad at him, so ashamed and so sad.

I don't want this guy in the league at all. I don't think he will realize what he's done until he's 30 or 40 years old. And even then, it might be a stretch. It sounds like even at 20-something, he's still not matured enough to realize what he's done.

Let's have a thought experiment. Let's say he realized how bad of a thing he did. Wouldn't his first reflex be to tell anyone he could how bad it is and not to do it? Wouldn't he go on a high school lecture tour to tell his story and educate his peers? Wouldn't that be the best way to redeem himself? Because if he realized something he'd want to redeem himself, right?

But he did none of that. Took his slap on the wrist and move on. He learned nothing and he's devoid of a moral compass.

Vegas takes the lead
Looks more and more like last year was a fluke year for them.

With Eichel now playing like a top tier 1C, Stone being healthy and Thompson playing like a #1 goaltender, IMO that team is the best version we've seen from this franchise yet.

Significantly more dangerous than the one who made it to the cup finals.

The gang has gotten pretty old we'll see how they hold up over a full season.
Thompson is far from proven at this point.
They've lost a lot of depth and young ELC's chasing Stone, Pietro, Patches, and Eichel.
They're solid but I don't worry about them - get us a second line center and we'll call it the West final.
