If the Avs win the Central, they’ll play Seattle. Vegas pretty much has the top spot locked up to play either of those teams.

Seattle please, gruby or Jones in net and a solid team, but nothing special. One of the highest goals above expectations in the league, they don't scare me one bit.

I don’t like wishing injury on anyone and it was just a fall more than anything.

I don't either, but Trouba is an exception. Several times per year he tries to take advantage of vulnerable players and extends his hits through the opponent's head. He puts the long-term health of other players at risk without a second thought, and he's one of the few players in the league that still regularly goes for these borderline hits. Ten years from now, I think we'll look back at him similar to how the hockey world as a whole looks back on Scott Stevens now.

For all the hate that Scheifele gets on here for being a prick and some of that is justified, I think PLD is one thousand times worse and gave up on a team. I am a big believer that if you can give up "once," you can give up again.

They're a bad team at 5 on 5. Like really bad. So long as a team like LA or Vegas don't get into penalty trouble against them, I don't see the Oilers making it out of the Pacific at all.

That's the big knock on Edmonton - they rely so much on their PP, which is deadly, but won't be so prevalent in the postseason.
That should give pause to anyone expecting them to go deep.

Agree and Ekholm has settled a lot of things down for them. If they get just average goaltending in the playoffs, they have as good of shot as anybody in the West.
