Reportedly not finalized yet because there may be other teams involved. Seattle retaining some of Giordano's contract and maybe the 3rd team involved retains even more.

I don't think Toronto is done giving up picks/prospect(s) in this deal.

Yup. Other than some AHL shuffling and a 3rd goalie I don’t expect anything else.

Sakic does that same press conference every year and he actually acquired someone (Brassard in 2019) as the media was seated waiting for that press conference to start (I remember BSN live streaming a trade reaction while seated).

Sure, but they move those picks for TWO runs, not just for one. It's different when you get at least "some" cap certainty for the near future.
Otherwise you might need those assets next off-season. See Kuemper.

But i still expect Sakic to bring in at least one more middle sixer. If not, i'll be pretty upset as well.

Avs always rely more on talent to win rather than grit, they obviously think they got all the talent they need, and Bednar thinks they've added toughness. Could be it folks, like it or not be prepared to go with this roster, but I'll be here tomorrow afternoon for the meltdown

Dallas won that series because the Avs goaltenders both got hurt. The Stars didn't beat the Avs so much as injuries did them in.
