Not counting the O'Reilly trade which was brutal and letting Stastny go for nothing;

Girard and Byram for Duchene? Girard has been horrendous this year. Byram can't stay healthy and Duchene has 32 goals and 31 assists this year.

I don't care what Saad did last year. He isn't here anymore while Zadorov is playing an important role for Calgary.

Cole is probably better than EJ, Murray and JJ and Graves is much better than all of them.

We could have kept Z or Graves and not have to send a 2nd and a good young Dman in Helleson for a pending UFA in Manson.

The graves situation has been explained to you a million times and you still refuse to get it.

If the Avs hadn't traded him, Seattle would've taken him instead of Donskoi in the expansion draft. The Avs got a second instead of losing him for free and basically forced Seattle to take one of Donskoi or Compher, freeing up some cap space.

I really hope we're not done. Another forward would be nice. A 3c that could step up and play 2c if Kadri does get suspended again would be ideal. I love Kads, but his suspension history has and always is a concern. Also anything that gets Bura out of the top 6 would be great. He really just brings down any line he's on when he's not on one of his heaters.

The replacement C if Mack or Kadri goes down, or out, should be Rantanen. He's shown he's capable of that role and the Avs have found out the hard way how that position can kill them in the playoffs if they don't use the best possible option there.

The downfall of this team will come from running that bottom 6, allowing Jack Johnson to play in the playoffs and possibly Kuemper.

A good first step was trading Jost. He wasnt helping the bottom 6.

Another good step was adding Manson who should help Girard. Girard no longer has any excuses now that he has a competent partner for the playoffs. If Girard has another poor showing in the playoffs you entertain the idea of trading him in the offseason. Really hope that doesnt happen and Girard helps the Avs win a cup.

This team still should be adding. Still some holes that need to be filled. Im also not sure if you want NAK playing in all your playoff games with his penchant for bad penalties at terrible times in a game and with the Avs being a mediocre penalty killing team taht might cost you a game. NAK is also very very soft along the boards and loses the majority of his puck battles. You want that in a 4th liner?
