I watched the game against Canada and he was the best player on the ice for Slovakia. He overwhelmed the Canadian Ds and forwards many times. Including our own Andy.He scored against good hockey countries at the Olympics, BUT those countries didn't have their A, B or C squads there lol. Then at the World Championships he pretty much fed on the bottom feeder countries with next to no hockey programs.
I'm terrified he's gonna struggle to produce in the AHL If he does then that should be grounds enough for Molson to fire Hugo next offseason
He needs a lot of work, specially positioning, but he made quick passes tonight, which showed me he’s slowly picking up the beat.
I think he will be sent to Laval. And he’ll learn how to play as a NA pro. He’s got solid qualities. He’s f***ing 18 year old.
