Pretty shocked. What a major transformation. Playing like crap in preliminary round and showing up big time in the quarterfinal vs. USA. Sweden did most things really well in this game. Lysell with two superb goals, Carl Lindbom very, very good in net and Simon Edvinsson dominant at D.

Yeah looks like I was wrong. Sweden lost 3 points and Russia lost 3 points, both were 2nd in the group, but Russia had way better goal differential.

Talent is obviously there, they're just a bunch of careless quitters. Not a single player looked like he'd be worthy of putting on that yellow jersey. None of them cared the slightest bit about losing by 11.

They now get a chance to make up for that shame. If they stink it up again in a similar fashion, then they're all gonna fall down significantly in the draft. I can guarantee you that.
