So our best case scenario is that Satny gets a 48 minute long shotout while scoring 3 goals to get it to OT... sure! no problem.

All of the goals have been mistakes by Czechs, just can't handle the Canada pace. PP

Czechs are playing just as well as Canada. They are extremely compact defensively and well coached overall. They have a small chance, but they definately have a chance.

4 goals on 6 shots... I mean, if you're the Czechs.. you've done everything you were asked of you... and you'r game ia lready over. Just one weak goal after another. Who is our 3rd goalie?

We got a save! The shot didn't go directly in! If I was Canaada... I'd start shooting from the red line.lol

According to the IIHF site Russia will play the winner of Canada / Czech

As far as I understand, they will reseed teams for semis. Russia is already in, I'm pretty sure, that another two teams will be Canada and Finland. So it's just one real question, America or Sweden?

If it's Sweden, then the seed will look this way:

1. Canada
2. Finland
3. Sweden
4. Russia

So it'll be Canada vs Russia and Finland vs Sweden.

If it's USA, though, the seed will look like:

1. Canada
2. Finland
3. Russia
4. USA

We'll have Canada vs America and Finland vs Russia.

Are the goalies always this bad or did they just not show up to play?
Satny was excellent against the US.

Suchanek has been okay. Howver, we was in the net for most the Russia goals and most the Canada ones. I'm not sure he sucks as much as it's a very good team playing a weak one. However, it is starting to be clear our goalies won't be stealing one for us here.lol

Woohoo! Cue the comeback! I would genuinely not be surprised if the next Canada shot goes in...

PP coming up.. Canada cannot be thrilled on allowing 2 goals on 9 shots either.

Finland's roster vs Switzerland.

Like I predicted, game was over early. Canada did exactly what they needed to. I also said I thought Czechs would fight hard to the end and they are still battling it out!

Is it the 3 goal lead is the hardest to protect in hockey?haha

Another PP... Brabenec to Svozil... for the Canuck fans that don't get to see our best player.. Jiricek.. he actually played forward on the PP. So him, Svozil and Brabenec created a nice umbrella up top to set up plays.

What a save on Pajer!

I'm sure you meant 4-goal lead.

No, it was a 3 goal lead at the time I wrote it.
I was, once again, being a smart-ass. Which is better than being a dumb-ass. Which I have also been. Too bad your guys have had such tragic goaltending today, or it would have been a good game.
