Not a fan of a hit like that when you're down 8-1. Every game has been plagued by stupid Czech choices and this is another one. 5 minute major.. I think Russia is hitting 10!

Some Team Sweden impressions after the 7-0 win over Latvia
- Robertsson has been very mediocre all-tournament long (he should for sure drop out of many first round draft rankings), but at least got to showcase his shot in this game and hopefully that builds his confidence
- Simon Aho stepped in and played very well IMO. Good hockey sense, good at moving the puck and seems to not overwork situations.
- Strömgren has not seen that much ice-time and honestly played poor when on the ice, but he showed up tonight with a good game and two goals.
- Hugo Hävelid looked very solid in net. Lindbom or Hävelid in the quarterfinal?
- Hit on Edvinsson did not look very good, hope he is able to play the next game, although his tournament so far has been kind of disappointing. Still, quite clearly the most skilled defenseman on this team
- Albert Sjöberg had a couple of really good shifts. Looked pretty decent imo
- Lysell and Rosén are obviously the most skilled offensive players on this team. Both could really use better line mates though. Those two could have done some damage if Sweden had better centers

I would be surprised if Sweden reaches the semifinal, although I hope I am mistaken. Mediocre roster (the worst one in years), awful passing game, and no game plan.

Who's brilliant brain-fart was bring Koskenvuo back to net.
Helomaa was good yesterday vs Germany and he should have got play in this game too.
Koskenvuo hasn't impressed by any ways so lets see how this game ends.

Lambert still out.
What a hell there is happened is Lambert really quarantined by covid-19 symptoms / infection.
Or is he injured or just healthy scratched.

Finland need 1 Point for winnig the group. Crazy tournament apropos.

Shane Wright scores in the first five minutes after missing the last two games.

What a shot!

Belarus has some pretty good players actually. They’re competing well and just drew a penalty.

Shots 12-9 Canada, been a somewhat even first period.

So basicly gold medal game will be Finland vs Canada.. right? nevermind cancel that

Sigh, these defencemen for Finland are attrocious, 0 creativity and they don't have the IQ to create any space for teammates, they never even brake to use opponents speed against them and they never walk the blueline they just stand there and pass it right into the skates of a US player time and time again.
