yes, Charlie brings in Dolis with the base loaded and nowhere to put a runner. How many times has he brought in a pitcher cold with the bases loaded. It never works

At least he didn't bring in Brad Hand this time

Honestly, Hand is preferable to Dolis at this point. Because at least Hand has been good this season. There's precedence for him to get out of his funk and be better. I wouldn't extend that same courtesy to Dolis.

I wouldn't bring either in for a bases loaded situation. Both have had serious control issues all season.

Montoyo just has zero situational awareness. Literally the worst I've ever seen in a pro level manager, across all sports.

put a cork in the season. Hopefully, the fans make enough noise to get Charlie fired and most of their analytical team if they are the ones indeed making the game plans before the game and Charlie following it as per them.

This is what happens when the roster isn't rolling at 100% and bailing out the manager from his terrible decisions. With a better manager we're probably tied for the division lead.

Montoyo at the end of the season "stop talking about the ending. We won 85 games this season".
If Francona is fine health wise, bring him in somehow.

Let Dolis stay out there until he he is so sore he can't pitch for the rest of the season

He's the 2nd worst I've seen. I can't even begin to explain the awfulness of Willie Desjardins, a coach who singlehandedly lost an NHL playoff series for his team by conceding last line change and matchup advantage on home ice.

Desjardins and Montoyo are cut from exactly the same cloth. Really nice guys who are good at building confidence in younger players but have absolutely no clue how to run a bench and make decisions at the highest level.

Dolis needs to be DFA'ed like yesterday.

Honestly I'd bring Gibbons back. He seems like the type that can balance that high wire act between keeping the players loose enough to play well but also being able to crack the whip so they maintain focus during critical moments.

so you are down 2 after your team has a huge rally to make it close. You have your heart of the order coming up in the 9th but what does the manager do well we all saw it. He has no clue on game management and who to bring in.
