Worse then I thought it would be. Those are the types of stats that get normal pitchers sent down.Romano in June

Yeah. It's a problem.

I hope it’s not the sticky stuff crackdown that affected him…Romano in June

romano lost his superpower when he stopped with the deep knee bend.
i think i heard it from mitchell on overdrive that both him and hand have some inflated numbers since the crackdown.the bigger potential issue is that he lost his powers when the sticky stuff crackdown happened. I wish I could find a tweet or something about it, but I remember someone pointing out somewhere that when MLB started harping on foreign substances both of Romano's primary weapons lost RPMs and his slider lost a ton of its bite.
could be coincidence for sure.Is it possible he’s just fatigued? He hasn’t pitched this deep into a season in the big leagues as a reliever in his career. His first couple seasons in the big leagues were shortened seasons.

He looks like he's walking around gingerly like an old man in the bullpen. Not sure what's up. He looks a bit beat up rn. He's throwing hard though so maybe some combo of mental, a bit of fatigue and sure maybe sticky stuff. I'm not that concerned though I think he will turn it aroundClearly it is. He looks like a shell of himself. No mound presence. No intimidation factor.
