I don't think he cares why. I think he only cares that a) it's not how he was taught and b) it leads to a few more passed balls and whiffed/failed block attempts.

It's unlikely that anyone would be able to convince him that the extra value of a few more strikes quite possibly offsets the damage of those passed balls.

I understand it is difficult to call a Major League Baseball game from some monitors. But at the same time, Buck is making no sense tonight whatsoever.

We basically need to switch Bichette and Semien (or Bichette needs to get good defensively)
We need a 3B.
We need another 3-4 top pitchers, at least 2-3 relievers and 1 starter while also bringing back Ray.
Might need an improvement in corner outfield D.
