Tough situation there with Mayza pitching the prior two days and Saucedo being used earlier in the game. Snead could’ve been used against Verdugo, but I probably would’ve preferred a slightly tired Richards and his change up over Snead in his debut. Another veteran lefty sure would help this team.

Not sure.

The Jays will be fine in the long run. Tons of assets coming (and some arms) but historically we for some reason just never have a truly dominant staff.

Most top teams have only a decent lineup but insane pitching and pen.

Grichuk hasn't hit since some point in May. Biggio is on a really bad stretch, wRC of 40 in July. I said earlier I am not sold on Biggio. His defense is average at second and his bat hasn't been good. He has had a drop in his power and he has been walking less.

They seem like Cinderellas this year. Unsustainable hitting and pitching up and down their lineup. They'll probably make a deep run and lose to a really good team later on.

I think Biggio eventually gets passed over by all the young infielders in the upper minors. He's a nice utility guy but does have limitations.
