I think he was watching the LF, who stopped a few steps short of the wall and turned to camp out like it was coming down in play.
I suppose we have to give him a break because he's not watching live and he probably gets the same/similar camera feeds to what we get. So there would've probably been no good way to track the ball through the sky.
I still enjoy poking fun at it though.

Jays are the second-best offensive team that's been without Springer. Springer might be back next weekend.
With Trout injured the only guy close is Nick Castellanos but he has a very high BABIP that's almost for sure unsustainable. Just counting this year obviously.
Vladdy has a wRC of 198 including this game. Pujols highest is 184 and Miguel Cabrera's highest is 193 but his next highest is 177.
